Cookie Policy
This page explains what cookies and similar technologies DelayDash uses on delaydash.com and why. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. We also treat similar technologies — such as local storage, session storage and pixel tags — as “cookies” for the purposes of this policy.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the site to work — e.g. keeping you logged into your claim, remembering which step you're on, and protecting us against cross-site request forgery. They do not require consent.
Analytics & product
We use first-party analytics to understand which parts of the site are used, where passengers get stuck, and whether a change actually improves the experience. This currently includes PostHog. Data is pseudonymised and used only in aggregate.
Support
We use Crisp Chat to let you message us from any page. Crisp sets cookies to remember the conversation between page loads.
Marketing
When we run paid campaigns we may use advertising pixels (for example Meta or TikTok) to measure whether an ad we paid for led to a claim. These are only loaded with your consent.
3. How to control cookies
- You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the service.
- You can withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time by clearing cookies for delaydash.com and declining the banner on your next visit.
- Most browsers support a “Do Not Track” signal; we treat it as a withdrawal of consent for analytics and marketing where applicable.
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties acting on our behalf (listed above). Those third parties may process data in their own right — check their privacy notices for details. We review this list regularly.
5. Changes
We may add, change or remove cookies as the product evolves. When we do, we update this page. Updates take effect as soon as they are published here — we do not individually notify visitors of changes.
